E'Lois Thomas is the Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer.  She is a prolific leader of the organization's administrative functions including governance, compliance and all technical aspects of the organization - finance, purchasing and information technology. 

 

Thomas is responsible for providing executive-level administrative oversight on all of all of SEEL's utility programs including but not limited to managing organizational growth and risk through the adoption of thorough, efficient operational procedures include status reporting, staff meetings operations reviews and dashboards and key performance indicators.

In this role, Thomas utilizes more than 25 years of experience in sustainability and development of organizational growth by providing the leadership that the company needs to continue to grow. Her team is also responsible for the annual revenue and EBITDA goals related to existing programs and continuously monitoring program effectiveness.

​

She is very involved in strategic growth options and program design for all platforms and programs.  Her prior work includes Corporate Controller in the automotive logistic industries as well as Deputy Finance Director for a local municipality.

​

Thomas has a Doctor of Philosophy Degree from Northcentral University.  She majored in business, which further validates her credential for such an auspicious role.  She also has completed a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Management from Wash College and a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a focus in Accounting from the University of Detroit Mercy.  Thomas also holds a Professional Certificate in Green Energy Management from San Diego State University and serves on the board of varying organizations including the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA), the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) and RESULTS Mentoring a local non-profit organization. She also mentors with the Council of Women of Energy and Environmental Leadership.  Thomas is married to Charles Thomas, Jr. and they ave two amazing sons.
